Nuit-Américaine

“Nuit Américaine” is a 1973 French film directed by François Truffaut but is also a technique used in cinema as a day-for-night effect (shooting during the day with filters to create an evening scene). Up to you to find out this picture was shot with moonlight or sun ?

Wonder

Wonder

“I was lucky last week” ! Lucky that I had not to leave my Holiday destination, lucky that the sky was so blue, lucky that I could take this picture,… . These is the kind of photography I like very much: very simple, very abstract, beautiful, brought to the essence,… we al have the feeling that we have seen this image before. But it makes you thinking and wondering and the more you look at it the more questions and memories you will get.

Perfect Leafs

Perfect Leafs

The nature that surrounds us can be very simple but at the same time extremely beautiful, mysterious and esthetic. Every leaf looks the same but is in fact different in size, shape, age,… some are perfect, some are damaged. The more you look at it the more you will discover. But we don’t have or take the time anymore to look more deeper and to stand still by this simple beauty.

The Rules of the Game

The Rules of the Game

I have always been intrigued by how lines control our lives on the road, on a parking, an airport, museums, sport etc.. We all know the meaning of those lines very well. We just need to see a few lines and we realize what they mean, where they are coming from. Therefore I have made a collection of very abstract images about lines in sport. I my search for lines I was impressed on how many spots we can find around us where people can paly their game between the lines. You can find the collection on my website
